Midwifery Today needs your help so we can continue to help others become midwives or doulas, provide worldwide birth education, and lead more women to have better births.

Midwifery Today has a history of serving the needs of midwives, other practitioners and families. We have coordinated 87 conferences in 18 different countries. Since inception, we have published over 143 magazines and sent out weekly issues of our free newsletter Midwifery Today E-news. All of this has helped us spread the word about the empowerment of birth choices and caregivers all over the world.

We have helped provide the best information on a variety of subjects related to birth—with a focus on clinical knowledge—to practitioners everywhere. Insight, inspiration, and information are our specialties. Many midwives have told me they were ready to quit midwifery but then attended a Midwifery Today conference, which changed their minds. These are some of the best midwives who have continued to practice and to help change birth practices all over the world. There is nothing quite like Midwifery Today. 

Throughout the years, we have been able to offer many scholarships to our conferences, helping traditional and indigenous midwives as well as beginning students. Our reach has extended from China to Russia and from Fiji to France. We have always focused on the needs of our teachers, readers, and registrants—thinking hard as we prepared programs that would be most helpful for practitioners to teach, learn about, or write about.
